Energy Efficient Windows

Are high electric bills keeping you from giving your family the comfort they deserve?

Energy efficient windows improve the aesthetics of your home, plus they reduce heat loss in the winter and heat gain in the summer.

There are various ways in which windows can gain and lose heat; whether it is from leaks around the frame of the windows or direct transfer of heat from the sun.

Energy star has created labels to tell you if a window will perform well in your climate based on an easy-to-use rating system. Homeowners who replace their home’s windows can also apply for a federal tax credit. In order to qualify you must replace your windows with Energy Star windows. According to Energy Star, owners of an average home will save $126-$465 every year if they switch from single-pane windows to energy efficient windows that meet the U.S. Environment Protection Agency Guidelines.
